I was about to go to bed when I thought: “Get the weather forecast first.” HA! I almost forgot how cold it is here!
The big headline was that the City of Syracuse was denied stimulus funds because they weren’t “shovel ready.” What they really need to know is that they aren’t in a “swing state.” But hey, they can keep hoping for next year’s left overs. Nothing like sloppy seconds when it comes to pork.
If that weren’t bad enough, the CSEA (public employees union) refused to accept smaller raises in exchange for a ‘no layoff guarantee.’ Way to go CSEA employees -make sure your kids have no choice but to leave this state when they grow up. Really, your greed is something to be highlighted. You can talk about that over your Easter dinner.
Oh no, what are we going to do? We need those bridges. After Barry and Co get done hosing us we’re going to need somewhere to live. I thought that was the whole reason behind the stimulus money. Build us bridges to live under.
