This was what the REAL Thomas Paine said, yet this Basso guy tries to make a name for himself by saying the exact opposite, calling himself “Thomas Paine”???? When will Conservatives READ something with which they’re trying to manipulate the weak-minded for once? Is this what you think of Americans? That we’re all too stupid to realize you don’t know what you’re talking about? This is exactly the kind of thing that made us want to elect someone who’s actually educated for once: Obama. P.S. Keep using the term “teabagging.” We’re all laughing at you.

Funny. Here you are saying we conservatives never read anything and that we’re trying to manipulate the weak-minded, yet you leave off the rest of the sentence in that quote from Thomas Paine.
“The debt we may contract doth not deserve our regard if the work be but accomplished. No nation ought to be without a debt. A national debt is a national bond; and when it bears no interest, is in no case a grievance.”
Our debt does bear interest; therefore it does bear grievance.
