I’m so sick of hearing Barack Obama and the Democrats telling the lie: “We inherited this economy.” Not only is it untrue, the Democrats created the mortgage mess at the heart of the financial meltdown, and did everything they could to block attempts to prevent the crisis.
President Bush, Alan Greenspan and even John McCain warned of systemic risk to the financial industry if Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac weren’t more tightly regulated. Chuck Schumer and Barney Frank pooh-poohed that idea. Heaven forbid Americans would have had to save for down payments on their homes! Barack Obama remained silent on the issue.
To make matters worse, today Barack Obama is pushing mortgage refinancing and the same policies that got us into this mess in the first place. Rather than let the real estate market find a bottom he’s pumping money in order to keep prices artificially inflated.

Come, come now….”change they can believe in” knew darn well just what he was going to inherit. Heck every statesman knows this….and if not, why in the flippin’ water-buffaloes did he apply for the gig if whining about what he has got to deal with is all he is really about?! 2013 – nothing like wishing our lives away! Thanks Obie. But if history is any guide he will be a one term president. Now we just have to find a way to stop he and his colleagues from doing irreparable damage.
