Yet Again, Chuck Schumer Displays His Disdain for the American People

Schumer: “The hard right, which still believes in ‘traditional values’….and strong foreign policy….all that is over.” And he went on to lecture us about bipartisanship!

I think President Obama has a pretty smart strategy.  He is going to talk bipartisanship to the American people.  But realizes until the Republican grassroots pushes their people over, if that ever happens, we are not going get change in the House or Senate.

He’s saying that we, the Republican grassroots, need to move to the left. He sure is an arrogant SOB, that Schumer. Sorry buddy, but the grassroots isn’t about to push our people over to your side. Not in this lifetime.

    Is it arrogance or ignorance?
I am not certain the communists understand what goes on out in the hinterlands. Most of them appear to be city-folk with no connection to middle America. What are traditional values? Belief in God, Country, Family, hard work and responsibility for one’s way in life. Are those bad things? We would have the world think that our values are flawed because we do not embrace communism, multiculturalism and the political elite.
The more they move left the larger number of “average folk” they leave behind. Soon they will be nothing but the political elite and a few kool-aid drinkers.

My goodness! What a terrible thing, to be eaten by your own ego…. I secretly hope that Mr. Schumer ultimately has to live with his own pronouncements. ChuckYou, Clean Face Harry, and Stretch Pelosi. I wish them every success with their own desires.

Because what he’s going to find out (especially as a politician) is that he needs us a lot more than we need him. We’re the producers, he’s the leech. When we say ‘nah, no thanks’ and go about taking care of ourselves without going to the government for assistance, and the country divides into the two camps of “Can Do” and “Help!”, he’ll be sitting on a curb somewhere crying like a little girl. I just hope somebody tapes it.

    Daneen,

I agree with but I think you under estimate the number of people who prefer to be needy rather than the “can do-er”. Unfortunately is takes much less energy to be needy.
