Former VP Dick Cheney has been making the rounds in the media lately, and he isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to President Obama’s national security policies. While the left mocks him, it appears the White House may be paying attention.
It was announced earlier that President Obama has changed his mind about releasing photos of interrogations of detainees. Now we find out that the president is considering indefinite detention of terror suspects.
The proposal being floated with members of Congress is another indication of President Barack Obama’s struggles to establish his counter-terrorism policies, balancing security concerns against attempts to alter Bush-administration practices he has harshly criticized.
Thank you, Mr. Cheney!
