New York Times editorial writer Maureen Dowd was caught plagiarizing a left wing blogger, practically word for word, with no credit to the source. Hot Air has all the details. Ironically, Dowd was involved in exposing Joe Biden’s plagiarism 20 years ago.
The Huffington Post was happy to defend Ms. Dowd with this headline: Maureen Dowd Admits Inadvertently Lifting Line from TPM’s John Marshall. Dowd said a friend quoted the [45 word] line to her and it showed up in her column. The only difference is that Dowd changed the word “we” to “the Bush crowd.”
