It looks like Nancy Pelosi’s gone into hiding after her disastrous media performance last week.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) turned down invitations to be on several Sunday morning talk shows and is instead spending the weekend with her family.
The Speaker was invited to appear on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” ABC’s “This Week,” “Fox News Sunday” and CNN’s “State of the Union,” according to sources at the networks.
One source said Pelosi (D-Calif.) will be attending her granddaughter’s first communion in Phoenix on Sunday.
I wonder how much this trip is costing the taxpayers.
Karl Rove appeared on Fox and Friends this morning to analyze Mrs. Pelosi’s bizarre press conference. No wonder she’s hiding.
I’ve pretty much always thought Nancy Pelosi was nuts and a radical, but I never thought she was stupid, until now.
Maybe it’s finally dawned on her, or someone finally slapped her up-side the head to get her attention.
I’ll be surprised if she survives as Speaker after this boondoggle.

I’ve always known Nancy was all about Nancy. It is a pleasure to see her finally expose herself for what she really is…that is, if there is anyone left who STILL has not realized what a totally stupid, self satisfied, corrupt sycophant she is.
It’s even more amusing to watch her run like a rabbit now that even SHE has to be aware that she’s made such a stupid mess of things. This is a lesson most people learn as children: Lying never works for long, it only makes things worse. She probably hasn’t really LEARNED anything from it, she’s just in a snit because finally, no one will believe her nonsense.
Well, no matter. Sunday morning will survive without Nancy. In fact, it will be a pleasure. I cannot remember a time when she didn’t jump at the chance to smear herself all over the screen, frog suit and all.
