For Democrats there will never, ever, be enough money. In the past one hundred or so days they’ve spent more than any Congress or president in our nation’s history. But it’s not enough.
Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives will seek passage in coming weeks of $94.2 billion in emergency money for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other programs, including $2 billion more to prepare for an influenza pandemic.
I thought they already included the funding for Iraq and Afghanistan in the regular budget. Wasn’t that something they touted as “change” we can believe in? You know, that budget that was so bloated that they waited for President Bush to leave office, knowing he would veto and Obama wouldn’t!
Here’s a little newsflash: The federal government does not make money. They produce nothing. The only way for them to pay for all of their spending is to take money away from Americans. Sooner or later they are going to run out of rich folks to take it from. Who do you think will be next?
Do ANY of these yahoos even have a clue about basic economics? Did they even take economics courses in those high falooting schools they went to?
