Politico’s top-of-the-fold story Sunday was a puff piece about the e-mail lists of Sarah Palin, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. While e-mail lists may be a sign of a politician’s popularity and therefore newsworthy, I couldn’t get over the photo they chose of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Governor Palin is a beautiful woman and there are plenty of flattering pictures of her out there. Why did they choose this one? Am I supposed to believe they aren’t trying to make Sarah Palin look bad? But then again, none of us really believes Politico is non-partisan, do we?

All three pictures were unflattering of Obama, Hillary and Sarah. Obama looks like he is yelling at someone. Hillary looks like she just eat something sour. Sarah looks like a deer caught in the headlights. The most flattering of the three pictures is the one of Sarah.
