President Obama released his $3.4 trillion budget plan for the fiscal year beginning in October. The budget includes a few billion in cuts, which is like a drop in a bucket compared to the overall size of the budget. Obama had to defend those measly budget cuts and with a straight face (I presume) dropped this doozie:
“We can no longer afford to spend as if deficits don’t matter and waste is not our problem,” he said. “We can no longer afford to leave the hard choices for the next budget, the next administration — or the next generation.”
Huh?

noooo..can’t leave anything to the next generation – they will be too dumb to solve their own problems. But don’t worry, the government will take care of everything. Just relax and let the government be your guide, your conscience, your everything.
