After scaring the daylights out of the good people of New York, the White House is now refusing to release the fruits of their handiwork.
The $328,835 snapshots of an Air Force One backup plane buzzing lower Manhattan last week will not be shown to the public, the White House said yesterday.
“We have no plans to release them,” an aide to President Obama told The Post, refusing to comment further.
The sole purpose of the secret photo-op, which sent thousands of New Yorkers running for cover, was to take new publicity shots of the presidential jet over the city.
They knew that flying planes low over Manhatten would cause panic. They chose to do it anyway. And it was all for nothing. A third of a million bucks down the drain. How’s that for trimming waste out of the budget?

Sounds like the White House did the fly-by as a litmus test to how scared New Yorkers still are and how the rest of the country would react.

Just another example of the disregard the elites have us “regular” people.
It always seems to be the case of “Do as I say and not as I do.”
DISCLAIMER: This ISN’T a rant against rich peeps per se. It IS against those uber types who look down there noses and don’t feel we can think for ourselves or spent our own money wisely. Some ARE rich, some are in academia, most are Dems/Libs…..opps in mean “progressives” WHATEVER!
IMO: This is one reason the libs foamed at the mouth about G.W. Bush. He was very much a down to earth type. Ironically they portrayed him as either a “monkey boy” or one of the elite ruling class. Of course this entirely overlooks their frustration for fielding two clowns as candidate for President. Denial isn’t a river in Egypt.
