I love Thomas Sowell. He and Walter Williams are two of my favorite economists. They are ultimately perceptive, politically, and are not ideologically biased in the economic analysis.
I’m glad you posted this vid, since I didn’t see it on TV.
Janeane Garofalo is relevant only in her role on “24.”

Dr Sowell makes me cry (with joy) — I am so fortunate to be alive when this man writes his columns, his books and also makes the occasional TV appearance. For me, he is a Rembrandt, Mozart, Churchill & Milton Friedman all rolled into one. It pains me to see blacks (many of whom are socially conservative) blindly vote for a party (Dems), whose elites’ values are polar opposite of their own. To see and read great black thinkers like Drs Sowell, Walt Williams and Shelby Steele in our lifetimes along with Justice Thomas…how blessed are we!!! Dr Sowell DESERVES to be interviewed by Brian Lamb on his C-SPAN Sunday evening Q&A program for an entire hour (nothing less).

Some years ago I knew I was conservative leaning, but I wasn’t quite sure why. You know, public schools. Then I started reading Dr. Sowell’s columns. The man is smart and he makes sense. How can you disagree with him? This man helped to solidify my convictions. His columns were more valuable to me than my college degree.
