Hey folks. I’d like to apologize for any problems you’ve had with this site lately. I thought I’d go back to my old look to see if that helps. I had switched because there were a few problems with the screen remaining blue. It’s not supposed to do that. But the last theme I used was “disappearing” which is not good.
If you wouldn’t mind, can you please let me know if this is better, worse, or the same?
Finding interesting news stories and videos is easy, figuring out html code and trying to fix glitches in web design is not.

I like the way it was yesterday. I was not experiencing any problems with the site; tonight it stays blue while it’s loading up, and then it’s fine.

Both formats load like molasses, the blue would disappear when the page finished loading with the former setup.
I know it is a lot of work, and I appreciate your efforts, But I gotta tell ya, my Adblock Plus is doing overtime.

A lot of the slow load time is a result of the sidebar stuff. There’s quite a bit on each page to load. I might be able to do a thing or two to help you out with that. Let me work on the theme itself early next week and get back to you.

If you get tired of messing with html, you might give my guy a try. His support is excellent. There are three other themes, so you would not have to copy mine. Price is right too. I took his ad off my page because I am trying to cut down size of front page. With one less row of articles, it means not updating is less obvious. And I like the minimalist look. AKA is right, load time with all the ads is a bear, plus ad blocker.
Warm weather means yard work, 7 acres worth of mowing on uneven terrain, so I am busy until the drought hits in July. Blogging slows down for a bit.
