Friday night John Stossel ran his interview with Glenn Beck on 20/20. Whatever you think of Beck, he certainly has a compelling story – almost as compelling as Judge Sotomayor.
Observations from a conservative in a blue state. With a little help from my friends!
It’s interesting to watch Stossel’s expressions and listen to Whoopie run her mouth off. It is obvious that his conservative views just don’t sit well with them. What is it in Hollywood culture that drives people “left”?

They live in a make believe world, they pretend for a living. What do you see when you watch a bunch of starry eyed children pretending? The same thing we see in hollywood, only the pretenders have assumed they are all grown up.

I am left wondering who actually watches “The View”?? The “blubbering buffoon” , girls, has BOFFO RATINGS.
It’s even more interesting to wonder what it is about a left-leaning brain that makes you WANT to control the lives of everyone around you. Is that fear? Knowing that nothing can make you perfectly safe in a random universe, so try to control everyone and everything around you? That’s my theory. Conservatives do not fear and thus do not want to control LC’s twinkie consumption.
I like Glenn Beck, he’s entertaining and most of the time I agree with the view he’s expressing. I just like him more, having seen that clip. Good thing the government wasn’t around to ‘provide a safety net”, huh? He would have been a totally different person. Likely a deceased alcoholic.
