Wow. Cold. I have to side with the Governor on this one. Had the democrats in the senate delivered on their promise for reform in Albany we wouldn’t be in this situation.
A New York senator angry at being ordered to stay in Albany by Gov. David Paterson called his fellow Democrat a “coke-sniffing, staff-banging governor.”
The comment to some reporters by Sen. Kevin Parker of Brooklyn is one of the harshest criticisms of the governor by senators now in their third week of an internal power struggle that has shut down legislative action in the Senate.
As senators sought to go home for the weekend and resolve their dispute next week, Paterson ordered them to return to Albany indefinitely.
A snivelling state senator is upset because he has to stay and do his job – while receiving his pay. Poor baby. Paterson may very well be a coke-sniffing, staff banging governor; but in this instance all he’s trying to do is get the senators to do their jobs. They need to grow up.
Albany is a mess and this is what it’s come down to. New York is about to sail past California as the laughing stock of the nation.

Isn’t it better when a democrat goes home and doesn’t do their job?
