Here’s the game so far- Network broadcasting is in the throes of being subsidized a la GM. This flies in the face of independent journalism. How can we believe someone who has been paid by the government? Will they dare to criticize or given the recent “unpleasantness” with Walpin, will reporters avoid the appearance of dissent.
Newspapers are already lobbying for money stating their necessity to the population as a means of information. Right now, the information channels are very narrow as layoffs continue in the paper game. That means that rather than having more eyes on situations, we have stories from AP, CNN and McLatchkey blanketing the nation. The less people that are actually at an event, the more chance there is for something to be missed.
Finally, the laughably names Fairness Act is a mechanism to limit free speech and force independent broadcasters into allowing shows that they do not support and that will not be financially supported by advertising dollars. The liberals like to think that Air America failed because talk radio is so unfair. In reality it failed because nobody wanted to listen to them. And that will drive radio stations into easy listening formats or canned programming 24/7.
They pretty much hate the free market. They’re making the big companies bigger while putting smaller companies at a disadvantage. Look at GE, Citi, AIG. It’s gross!

That was a powerful Beck, I missed the last (most important) half in earlier viewing, so thanks for posting it here. (I am so lazy, LC–I could probably google all this stuff, but you make it so easssssssyyyyyy).
Beck is absolutely on target here. Team O destroyed Hillary Clinton, despite the votes she had, remember–Team O visited the big money and told them to throw her over, because they were going to win and these people wanted to be on the winning side. What on earth did these yabbos elect?
I hope Mr. Walpin decides screw it, I’m old enough I don’t have much to lose—and takes it to the wall. Because he can. I’ve GOT to email him support somewhere. Thanks again for this post.

Konrads (and Radettes) we need good sources of information that the central committee can use to communicate with all the hard working party members.
