Charles Krauthammer called President Obama’s Cairo speech “abstract, vapid and self-absorbed.” On Iran he was “exceedingly weak” and the apologies and moral equivalence were over the top.

I missed this too. Thanks for catching me up:-) Krauthammer is brilliant (most of the time).

    “abstract, vapid and self-absorbed.”

Perfect description of our current president. I did a small ‘p’ on purpose.

I read through the speech several times, and frankly, aside from all of the idiocy we know to be untrue–just flat out untrue–I see serious favor-currying with the Middle East. I see repeated points and comments (when once would have been enough) and I see remarks that should never be made by an apostate from Islam, and yet he felt comfortable with that when he surely knows better. I see a number of things that just set off alarm bells, and I’m not given to conspiracy theories. I think he has a whole other agenda with the Middle East and I think lots of us are not going to like where he takes us.

Why does he feel the need to denigrate the United States and elevate Muslim nations? I seriously doubt that it is just misguided. This man does nothing without long calculation.

And what is Rahm’s agenda? My liberal Jewish friends are beside themselves at the moment— they “counted on Rahm” (!) and don’t understand where he’s going. Another reason to be nervous. Spooooooooky. …

Spot on, Daneen! I never ceases to amaze me how naive Americans are, even conservatives, even PRINCIPLED conservatives, when it comes to that man. He is not (just) a “leftist”. For Heaven’s Sake, he is a Muslim!

Dear Americans, it isn’t easy to admit that one has been fooled. Most of you may not even have heard about a concept like “taqqiya”, but wake up and see and understand what the man you have elected into the most powerful office on earth really is.

May God help you! May God help us all who cherish a free world.

    Whatever you guys say
The President is a guy who can lead this country and also make people shake hands all round the world.
Hatred of the kind you people have will spread more hatred and wars will bring in more wars and a day will very soon come when you people, who hate everyone but yourself and those who fall inline with your thinking, will be forced to realize that you are wrong.
Remember the world is too small and an employer of today could be forced to be an employee of tomorrow and vice versa also is true.
So I say open your eyes wide and see the truth before its too late
