Many thanks to Conservatives for Palin for posting this video. I would have given almost anything to drive the forty minutes to see Governor Palin today – anything that is, but my son’s birthday.
It’s so nice to see a politician, even if she is from the other side of the continent, that recognizes what a wonderful area we live in. Governor Palin seems to get it more than Hillary Clinton, who’s listening tour was nothing better than a vote-buying traffic jam.
If you’re wondering about the Alaska/Auburn connection: William Seward was President Abraham Lincoln’s secretary of state. Seward brokered the deal to buy Alaska from Russia. At the time they called it “Seward’s Folly.” Auburn is very proud of their home town son, so they decided to honor Mr. Seward, and who better to help celebrate the day than Alaska Governor Sarah Palin?
Governor Palin says Washington, DC gets in the way and that we should never apologize for being ourselves! Hear! Hear!

Update: “She’s one of us.”
H/T Gateway Pundit who also noted that 20,000 people showed up to see the governor.
Correction: Seward was secretary of state under President Lincoln and then Andrew Johnson. At the time of the purchase of Alaska Johnson was president.

Palin is a Positive force for the Conservatives and is the best joice to run for President in 2012. Let’s hope we survive till then when we can get rid of this piece of crap who is destroying this Country.
