Maybe we should call him Senator Inhope.
Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe has been leading the charge against global warming alarmists for years. He sat down for an interview with the Countrywide and Sun to discuss the Crap and Tax (started as a typo but has a nice ring to it, no?) bill that passed the House late last night. He said it’s dead on arrival.
“It doesn’t matter,” he declared flatly, “because we’ll kill it in the Senate anyway.”
Asked if he was confident that would be the case, Oklahoma’s senior senator said he was “absolutely certain.” He noted that it would take 60 votes to break an anticipated Republican filibuster over cap and trade and predicted the most the Democrats can muster is about 34.
He said all the hubbub in the House was over Pelosi’s desire to attend a conference in Copenhagen and be able to stand up and say, “Oh, we’ve passed this out of the House and we’re going to lead the way in America but it’s not going to pass the Senate.”
Inhofe said the bill, if passed, would constitute the largest tax increase in the history of the country.
He scoffed at Democratic claims that “cap and trade” doesn’t represent a tax increase at all but instead is a free enterprise solution.
I guess it all depends on how well Senate Democrats hold up under the pressure of Obama administration thugs who will no doubt stop at nothing to get this legislation passed.
Either way, Senator Inhofe has been a real champion on this issues for years, for that he deserves our appreciation and gratitude.
Make your voices heard call your senators and let them know their political carreer ends when they vote yes on this bill. And let them know you will be active in seeing they are unseated.That you don’t intend to just make a call then bury your head in the sand. Attend a tea party and lets take this great country back.

We should all let the RNC and the Rep. Senate Committee that we will not support them if they work for, or give any of our money to any traitor that votes for this nightmare, in either house.

Stop cap and trade and perserve capitalism which is the foundation of what made our country great.
Stop government health care. The only crisis is in the mind of the administration. My WW II veteran father will never go to the VA. It’s free and think you can figure out why he chooses not to use the government hospital.
