President Obama gave Congress a stern lecture today. It’s as if he thinks he, rather than the voters, is their boss. He urged them to pass “pay as you go” legislation which is code for raising taxes. The gall of this man is stunning. He’s on a spending spree the likes of which was unimaginable a few months ago. He’s the most fiscally irresponsible president in the history of our nation, yet he had the nerve to say this: “The reckless fiscal policies of the past have left us in a very deep hole,” Obama said. “Digging our way out will take time and patience and tough choices.”
I don’t know how he managed to keep a straight face! Who does he think he’s fooling? If the fiscal policies of the past were irresponsible, then Obama’s spending is irresponsibility on steroids! It will take decades to undo the damage this man is inflicting on us, if it can ever be undone. And he has the gall to spout off on fiscal responsibility! Talk about audacity!
That’s exactly what I was thinking earlier. The guy is a nut job to say the least.
