Soaking the rich has never worked and never will. Dan Mitchell makes the case against class warfare tax policy, which may be popular among some voters but it’s terrible economic policy. Mitchell explains the five key reasons to reject class warfare economic policy, and why.

President Obama and other politicians are advocating higher taxes, with a particular emphasis on class-warfare taxes targeting the so-called rich. This Center for Freedom and Prosperity Foundation video explains why fiscal policy based on hate and envy is fundamentally misguided. For more go to the Center for Freedom and Prosperity.

FDR tried soaking the rich, why do you think the depression turned into the Great Depression? FDR went after the wealthy with a vengeance, much to the detriment of the economy. President Obama may have learned a thing or two about politics from FDR, but he certainly didn’t learn anything about economics.
