Trevor at New Zeal has been studying the history of the Communist Party in Chicago. He’s put together a convincing argument that President Obama has strong ties to the CP, and was most likely recruited for them by Frank Marshall Davis.
Frank Marshall Davis had close ties to the CP in Chicago until he moved to Hawaii where he met a young Barack Obama and mentored him. Trevor has found old articles and letters that conclusively show the connection between Davis and Vernon Jarrett. They worked together for the Communist Party controlled Citizens Committee to Aid Packing House Workers. Vernon Jarrett is none other than the father-in-law of one of Obama’s closest advisors - Valerie Jarrett.
Barack Obama moved to Chicago and received support from the CP connected friends of Frank Marshall Davis. He was even endorsed by the Communist Party. There is so much more, you can read the whole report at New Zeal. He concludes with the following questions:
Are we expected to believe that this is all mere coincidence?
Would there be an Obama/Jarrett relationship today, if there had been no Frank Marshall Davis/Jarrett connection through the Communist Party of post war Chicago?
What role, if any, has the modern Communist Party USA played in fostering that relationship in more recent times?
The Communist Party USA continues to back their “friend” Barack Obama.
How deeply has the Communist Party been involved in advancing Obama’s political career-through the Jarrett family, or by other means?
The answers to these questions will have major implications for the future of what’s left of the free world.
I keep asking myself why the US media didn’t bother to vet Barack Obama. The only answer I can come up with is that they did – and liked what they found but knew you might not like it, so they kept the information to themselves. What, exactly, is it that the media loves about Barack Obama? It can’t just be his speaking abilities….Ronald Reagan was a great communicator and the media loathed him. It can’t just be his charm….George W. Bush has plenty of charm and we all know how the media feels about him. It can’t be the color of his skin….just look at the way they sneer at Michael Steele. They are either a group of ivy-educated morons, or they have some agenda they aren’t filling you in on. Which do you think is more likely?

Upon reading his article, I found no trace of a “convincing argument” that Obama has such “strong ties,” or that he “was most likely recruited for them by Frank Marshall Davis.” Weak links do not constitute “strong ties.” I found no evidence of such recruitment, only speculation.
Please present the salient features of either “convincing argument.” Thanks!
