Tom Daschle has teamed up with a few RINOs in the “spirit of bi-partisanship” to sell health care reform. Many on the left think he sold them out. But if you really listen to what he says, he isn’t bi-partisan at all.
Joe Scarborough asked the former senator how health care reform can be passed without scaring the American people. Daschle repsonded, saying health care is paid for in three ways: premiums, taxes or out-of-pocket expenses. He wants to shift it onto the “tax payroll in order to accomodate more efficiency.”
That’s the plan of the left! Shifting the costs onto the tax payroll. Simply changing the rhetoric doesn’t change anything. He’s just trying to employ the Alinsky tactic of making the middle class feel comfortable. The same way President Obama promised that the government won’t push Americans out of private health plans. They withhold information, such as the fact that their design is for a government plan to eventually put private health insurers out of business.

Does anyone really believe that introducing more government into the equation is going to make health care more efficient? Name one government program that is more efficient than the private sector. Who is he trying to kid? And as far as paying more taxes to cover more people – how about all of those in favor of that proposal join together and create a fund to pay for the health care of the uninsured, including those that are uninsured by choice. The rest of us can opt out and continue funding our own health coverage. Now that’s change I can believe in.
