A lifetime of agony

Obamacare Flow Chart

President Obama and House and Senate Democrats are doing all they can to bring European and Canadian style health care to America. House Republicans released the chart above (click image to enlarge) showing the levels of bureaucracy involved in socialized health care. How on earth will that make health care more affordable and efficient?

What we’re going to get is a bureaucratic nightmare. The latest health care news out of the UK is a nine month wait for treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, a painful and debilitating condition.

Thousands of rheumatoid arthritis sufferers face a lifetime of agony because they are not being treated quickly enough, a report says.

Guidelines state that patients should receive treatment within three months of the first symptoms appearing.
But the average wait is nine months – and GPs are not trained well enough to know what help to offer.

There is no cure, but experts say that if arthritis is diagnosed in the first three months, drugs can be given which limit its progression. This means the disease will not be as painful as it would have been if the condition was diagnosed later.

No wonder they’re focusing so much on prevention. They know that when they control our health care once you’re sick you’re toast.

When you hear the president and the democrats talking about health care reform keep these four words in mind: A Lifetime of Agony.

Thanks for the link. I haven’t done much here – my husband’s golf night and our boys have endless energy!

I have a friend in England lucky to be alive–a heart attack in December last year, and waited 10 months for a stent–he was stable! No reason not to do that within 48 hours! And on the first scheduled date, the doctor “found he didn’t have the special tool he needed” so it was rescheduled for 30 days later. What “tool” wouldn’t be available in the hospital in multiple numbers for this routine procedure???? Meanwhile, his heart has deteriorated to the point where he will be on permanent disability, living off the State (which he never wanted to do).

And the worst part is, they don’t even question this because it’s how National Health works. We are heading there so fast my head is spinning around like the girl in The Exorcist. We’re not going to be able to stop this, unless some Democrats regain their senses. We need an exorcism NEXT YEAR.
