The democrats and Barack Obama don’t care what we want. If they did, they wouldn’t be trying to ram through health care legislation before the August recess. At the time of this writing, President Obama is on TV (again) lying about health care reform. He just said there is consensus. He sounds like an insurance salesman. Sort of the like the consensus about global warming. There’s a consensus among the statists and those who were bullied by the statists.
Well, there isn’t consensus among the American people.
Just 35% of U.S. voters now support the creation of a government health insurance company to compete with private health insurers.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 50% of voters oppose setting up a government health insurance company as President Obama and congressional Democrats are now proposing in their health care reform plan. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided.
Hey Obama – we don’t want your stinking health care!

How can we get the details of this vote in the house ways and means cmte.? Democrats also voted down an amendment from Rep. Dean Heller (R-Nv.) that would require all Members of Congress to get insurance through the government-run plan. Apparently Democrat members of Congress do not like the government plan they’re trying to inflict on the rest of us. In a straight party line vote, Democrats voted against exempting themselves from the government-run plan by a vote of 21-18.

Nancy PIGlosi is starting to show the effects of the pressure of lying to the people daily. Her botox bill alone would probably bankrupt Obummer care if it was to pass.Every politician that votes for CRAP & TAX or this idiotic health care bill should be run out of office.Don’t just call and email get down to their offices, go to town hall meetings and give financial support to anyone who runs against them.

My biggest concern is the 2010 elections don’t reverse this insanity and things get truly ugly.

I’m not sure about this, but I think that Congress will not be the only Americans not required to be covered by ObamaCare. I think all government employees may be exempted because Obama has promised us that if we want to keep our present insurance we can. For you and me, we know that our companies will quickly opt out, but for government workers, they have the same plan as Congress, I think. I can’t swear to it, but I believe that is correct.
