The Kool Aid is wearing off.
Democrats are taking a beating these days at town hall meetings. Earlier this month Dan Maffei faced a rowdy crowd here in Syracuse. Yesterday Senator Ben Cardin heard from a constituent who has decided to forego health insurance for now because he can’t afford it. He wants to know if he will be penalized by the federal government for not having health insurance. Cardin turned it around on the constituent, telling him if he gets sick or hurt he will force others to pay his bills. What a schmuck – assuming this guy will stiff his health care providers.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius faced similar derision at a town hall meeting. A man told her it will be a cold day in hell before they socialize his country. Hear! Hear!

I’ve “Had Enough” as well, but we don’t advance our argument by personally attacking our political opponents. Calling her self righteous is fine. Calling her a bitch proves no point, even if she is a bitch. There are plenty of bitches and asshohles on all sides of the political spectrum. You are right that she is self righteous. That’s the definition of a liberal. If you’re a liberal, results don’t matter. Only intentions matter. There’s nothing easier in the world than being a liberal. And liberals know what’s best for all of us, certainly better than we do. As Conservatives, we are held to a higher standard. Get used to it. Having said that, you shouldn’t use words that you don’t know how to spell.
