She couldn’t find any jobs because they’ve all vanished! Poof! Another 467,000 American jobs lost in June. Thanks to the idiots who believe they can control the economy, we have the worst unemployment in 30 years. And it’s only going to get worse!
Employers in the U.S. cut 467,000 jobs in June, the unemployment rate rose and hourly earnings stagnated, offering little evidence the Obama administration’s stimulus package is shoring up the labor market.
The payroll decline was more than forecast and followed a 322,000 drop in May, according to Labor Department figures released today in Washington. The jobless rate jumped to 9.5 percent, the highest since August 1983, from 9.4 percent.
Unemployment is projected to keep rising for the rest of the year just as the income boost from the stimulus package fades, undermining prospects for a sustained rebound in household purchases, analysts said. As companies from General Motors Corp. to Kimberly-Clark Corp. cut costs, the lack of jobs will restrain growth.
“This will be another jobless recovery,” said John Silvia, chief economist at Wachovia Corp. in Charlotte, North Carolina. “We may get positive economic growth driven largely by federal spending, but people on the street will say, ‘Where are the jobs?’”
“Where are the jobs?” Good question.
Any time you rely on government supplied unemployment figures, you are woefully misinformed. Just as they like it to be. They do not count you if you cease filing claims because the benefits have run out, they don’t count you if you are not registered with them.
And just as the white house press secretary is a lying sack of excrement, so too the suppliers for employment statistics. One cannot tell the truth and make government look good. And that’s their job, to make government look good.

Yeah, you’re right. I read somewhere (after I posted this) that the true unemployment rate is probably about 18%. I just haven’t had time to get to it and I forget where I saw it. They know what they’re doing is destroying the economy. It’s by design. Now they’re even bold enough to tell us unemployment’s going to go up. You know, just blame it on Bush.
More on that later, if I manage to keep my eyes open.

Obama thinks everyone is as stupid as the people that voted for him. He makes the loosest, most general statements possible, to attempt to imply that Bush is responsible for all the rampant spending because it started under him.
He lies and changes his story at-will on everything from his cabinet’s ethics to whether or not he ever met with Blago to discuss his senate seat, meanwhile the press is occupied with stories on his puppy vetting process and how Barack likes to play basketball.
Obama wants the state to be your mother and father- and it’s his right to lie to you if he wishes… just like your parents when you were five. Government will be one you come to for money, ask permission when you want to think or speak, and who handles all your finances for you since of course you can’t be trusted.
