Rut Roh! Is Obama losing Helen Thomas?
ByRobert Gibbs squirmed through another press conference today. This time, the subject was Obama’s town hall meeting, which the White House controlls.
CBS’ Chip Reid and Helen Thomas double teamed Robert Gibbs today at the daily press briefing on the “tightly controlled” town hall meeting President Obama will hold on health care. Gibbs kept saying lets have this discussion AFTER the meeting. Helen Thomas accused the White House of “controlling the press.” She said almost all White House/Obama events are “prepackaged.” She accused the White House of not “having any answers.”
Proud liberal Helen Thomas isn’t happy with the lack of promised transparency from the administration, and she wasn’t buying Gibbs’s BS. See the video at Real Clear Politics.

Helen hasn’t been this upset since she covered the George Washington administration.
I wonder if she was banned from the FDR White House? He didn’t like being questioned, either.
Gibbs is the perfect example of the mindset that one is perfectly capable of picking up a turd by the clean end.

Obama thinks you’re stupid-
he thinks everyone is as stupid as the people that voted for him.
He makes the loosest, most general statements possible, to attempt to imply that Bush is responsible for all the rampant spending because it started under him.
He lies and changes his story at-will on everything from his cabinet’s ethics to whether or not he ever met with Blago to discuss his senate seat, meanwhile the press is occupied with stories on his puppy vetting process and how Barack likes to play basketball.
And Obama could care less if you catch him lying or flip-flopping too, he just changes the subject and moves right-on-along.
Obama wants the state to be your mother and father- and it’s his right to lie to you if he wishes… just like your parents when you were five.
Government will be one you come to for money, ask permission when you want to think or speak, and who handles all your finances for you since of course you can’t be trusted.
Glad to see that someone is keeping Gibbs on his toes. The Obama administration is proving to be a disappointment to liberals and conservatives alike, and we are lucky to have Thomas around to call it like it is.
