The American people don’t like it. But that hasn’t stopped Obama. He even had Air Force One take him to a grocery store to continue his sales pitch. I wonder if the scanners can read $1,000,000,000,000.000? If not I’m sure there’s some stimulus money to make the upgrade.
As far as the status of ObummerCare, it depends on the time of day. It looks like, true to form, a few of the Blue Dogs are selling out. From everything I’ve read and heard the “moderates” don’t want a public option but are open to health insurance co-ops. I guess it all depends on the definition of “public option” because it could be argued that the co-ops will be a public plan. Will the co-ops turn into “Fannie Med” as Senator Jim DeMint calls it? That’s a scary thought.
In summary, there won’t be a bill for President Obama to sign by the end of the week. In fact, even if things go well for the democrats, there won’t be a bill until at least autum. Which gives us all plenty of time to put the pressure on our representatives and tell them in no uncertain terms we do not want ObummerCare! It’s time to get vocal, folks!
Oh, and you can sign a petition telling Congress you want them to enroll in any plan they force on the rest of us!
