AARP will take members’ money but not their questions!

At an AARP meeting the leadership wanted to talk at the membership. The members wanted to be heard. The woman running the meeting decided she wasn’t going to have any of that and ended the meeting.

I have a feeling AARP is about to lose a lot of dues paying members. Serves them right. H/T Gathering of Eagles: NY

AARP is an anti second amendment, big government organization, why would their actions surprise anyone?

Those are my people there! The Carrollton Tea Party has been active in pressing elected officials and supporters of the Obamacare bill to come clean with their connections and their input. The fact that AARP cut short the session pretty much makes clear that they intended to lecture a bunch of old people on how to think. Surprise, surprise, just because someone is retired doesn’t mean they are senile. These folks know the score. Now if we can make younger people realize the peril, we will be home free. Call your elected officials frequently and remind them who is boss!
