New York State Fair Parade March (Health Care Organizing Event)A coalition of local groups supporting healthcare reform including a public option will take part in the daily New York State Fair parade on Sat. 8/29 at 5 PM. Other than Organizing for America, particpating groups include SEIU 1199, ACTS congregations, AARP and others. Assemblyman Al Stirpe will also be particpating. We will meet in a designated staging area at 4:30 pm. Anyone particpating is encouraged to wear a red shirt(“We’re Red Hot for Healthcare Reform”).
Further details will be provided as the date approaches. Please help generate some positive publicity for healthcare reform by participating in this event!
