Democrat Rep. Diane Watson praises Castro and Guevara for kicking out the wealthy

And lemme tell ya, before you say “Oh, it’s a commu–”, you need to go down there and see what Fidel Castro put in place. And I want you to know, now, you can think whatever you want to about Fidel Castro, but he was one of the brightest leaders I have ever met. [APPLAUSE]
And you know, the Cuban revolution that kicked out the wealthy, Che Guevara did that, and then, after they took over, they went out among the population to find someone who could lead this new nation, and they found…well, just leave it there (laughs), an attorney by the name of Fidel Castro…
Yeah, things are sooo much better in Cuba than they are here in the US. That’s why we’re constantly seeing Americans swimming to Cuba.

Let’s buy her a one-way ticket over there and shove her out as they fly over.
I am totally ashamed to be a black person after reading Diane Watson’s praise of Castro. Watson and some members of the black caucus are old enough to have lived through the horrors committed by Castro. My first encounter was at 12 years old. I recall living in fear for weeks during the Cuban Missile Crisis when the world was going to be destroyed by nuclear missiles. Where was Watson when Castro murdered thousands of people, seized American owned business and farms, imprisoned Christians, turned Cuba into communism, closed churches, took away freedoms, seized personal property and personal bank accounts. I am frightened again when our leaders want to model America based on a communist system. Castro was and still is the enemy of freedom and capitalism.
This lady is an idiot. Che was not the leader of the Cuban revolution. It was Fidel and his brother Raul. Castro recruited Che in Mexico before they invaded. I am ashamed that any one who is as dumb as this women was elected to office.
