Leading up to the 2006 mid-terms, Nancy Pelosi and the left pulled out all the stops to regain power. One of their tactics was comparing President Bush to Adolf Hitler, and their tactics worked. You certainly didn’t hear Pelosi complaining about this ad by MoveOn. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Not to mention that comparing Obama and the democrats to the Nazi’s is quite appropriate, given their plans for totalitarian control over the lives of Americans.

Update: But here’s Robert Gibbs talking about how dangerous it is to compare politicians to Nazi’s. Does that mean President Obama will return every dime of campaign money he received from MoveOn and other groups that Nazified President Bush? If not he ought to just shut up.

I love all the guilt by association. What does Pelosi have to do with this ad? Nothing. What does Obama have to do with it? Nothing. Gibbs? Nothing. ACORN? Nothing. Y’all just bring up buzzwords like ACORN and Moveon when you wanna attack the left. As has been pointed out, this was submitted in competition and got pulled. It’s not a Moveon ad. These attacks are as absurd and ignorant as the ones being made against health care reform.

Wow, do you ever tell the truth? This was never aired and not sponsored by anyone in the government. Dick Army mentioned this falsehood on Meet the Press which is why I looked it up. I don’t think anyone should be compared with Hitler left or right. He was a monster responsible for the deaths of millions. Why not try sticking to the facts so our country can engage in a healthy debate? Some of us believe we need health care reform, some of us were against the war in Iraq, some of us are worried about our debt… We all have legit worries and should treat each other with respect.
