Rep. Eugene Green – Photo ID required for town hall, not to vote!

Newsbusters reports that Rep. Eugene Green (D-TX) is requiring attendees of his town hall meeting show photo ID to gain admittance. He doesn’t want any non-constituents infiltrating his town hall to raise a ruckus. Funny thing is, he voted against requiring a photo ID to vote in federal elections.

Tom Blumer asks:

•How many dozen other Congressmen who oppose voter ID laws are going to hypocritically enforce voter-ID rules at their town halls — And does that mean that controlling their meetings more important than controlling the voting process?

•Will this be newsworthy to the establishment media, which would be all over this if Gene Green were a Republican, and which is scouring town hall sign-in sheets as you read this for evidence of out-of-district attendees?

Typical hypocrite democrat!

Old Gene is really afraid of “the angry mob,” as protests are being held at his local office without one word from him. He is a lying coward. (Yes, I am from Texas)
