Sign the Petition Supporting Glenn Beck – And Boycott Corporations that Pulled Ads

August 14, 2009
By 28 comments

Update: Since this was first posted more companies have pulled advertising from Glenn Beck’s show, including Wal-Mart.

In an earlier post I questioned whether the White House is behind a campaign to silence Glenn Beck. It’s possible the connection between Science Czar (oh, the czars!) and the groups behind this campaign is a coincidence. Either way, if you support Glenn Beck you can sign a petition, informing those companies that pulled their advertising from his show of your support.

In case you were wondering, the following corporations have pulled ads:

NexisLexis-owned Lawyers.com

Proctor & Gamble*

Progressive Insurance

Geico

Travelocity

Send them a message today and sign the petition. We can also start a boycott of our own. If they’re going to cave to the far left nut jobs trying to destroy our republic, why should we support them with our hard earned dollars?

*Proctor and Gamble is in bold as a reminder to check labels carefully when shopping. Here’s an image of just a few from their website.

That’s not all – see the list below. Dang, I use a lot of P&G products. They’re going to lose a really good customer if they lose me. Note they also sell pharmaceuticals. Hmmm. (More on that later.)

Glad to see this, I want to post a link on my site.
Admire your guts, lonely conservative, keep up the good work.

This is how the left operates, like chicago thugs, threatening Beck, and now with the latest CZAR Mark Lloyd they will try to shut down talk radio, Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Levin etc.

    The commies are here!

By the way, this appeared July 25, 2009 on American Thinker http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/07/obamas_a_racist.html It appears to me that Glen’s opinion is shared by more than one of us.

I also meant to say that my mom works for Geico and was just telling me about those ads. She says that everyone in her building got an email saying that Geico was receiving lots of calls wanting to know why Geico supports Glenn Beck since they were airing commercials during his program. And those callers were highly ticked off that Geico was supporting him. Hmmmm……

That’s interesting. HuffPo and others on the left are saying they’ve now gotten 20 advertisers to pull their ads. I was on the phone during the whole show today so I didn’t notice who ran ads.

Most of the products I use are not on the list. I will with much pleasure finish using my last 4 rolls of Charmin. Having some very “moving” feeling of P & G.

Thanks for putting this up, is there a web site for conservatives like the liberal colorofchange.org ? wanted to ask them for a list like this but they have no contact info.
please let me know. I am looking for a group to add my voice to but have lost faith in the GOP and feeling lonely like you.

Well, I don’t know. There are plenty of conservative websites (see sidebar to the right). Feel free to vent right here if you want. All I can say is spread the word.

    Will not buy their products.
List the email for the companies so we can voice our complaint directly with them.

I certainly will not give any of these advertisers that have abandoned Glenn Beck any of my business for sure! I will not use their services nor will I buy anything from any of these advertisers. Fox doesn’t need ‘em. There’s more great advertisers out there that would love to expose their products on the top rated Fox News Glenn Beck program. As more advertisers pull their ads, Beck’s ratings keep climbing!

Husband and I said ‘Au Revoir’ to CVS today. Switched to Walgreens. Then we went to Costco. We had just renewed in March. Got the full $53.50 credited back to our Amex Card. When I told her ‘why’…she smiled with genuine understanding!! GE is gone from my house, as will be many Proctor & Gamble Products. Have the picture hanging on my refrigerator, as a reminder of what NOT to purchase.

WOW! Do I have changes to make! Febreze, Puffs, Gillette, Secret, Duracell, Olay, Zest (whimpers), Cascade, Crest, Oral B, Always (again, whimpers), Herbal Essence, (used to buy Infusium and swore by it..not anymore!!), Clairol (my mother), Bounce (LOVE the smell), Downy (doesn’t make me itch), and Gain (also love the smell).

So those are all the products that I usually buy for my household. For some of them it’s been a very long relationship. The relationship is over. I can make the sacrifice. It’s not like I’m having to wash my hair with Lard and condition it with mayo or something.

I’m thankful that I don’t buy these products anyway. the only thing I used was charmin and I can do w/o. After shipboard life and the corn cob paper they use … this should be easy

Also, Paul Newman’s products go to support the progressives. Boycotting Hollywood would not be a bad idea – except for the patriots like John Voight

Hey guys, another thing to think about. ALL of the products listed are very, very toxic. You would be better off to start looking for products that are more natural. There are some good ones out there. I don’t use any of the products listed from P & G

  23. Jenn on April 20, 2010 at 11:55 am

Velda has a good point about boycotting Hollywood. People like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore who wholeheartedly support ‘spreading the wealth’ (as long as it’s not their wealth, it seems) and Danny Glover, etc.
Send letters to the studios and TV production companies and letting them know that you won’t be watching certain shows or going to certain movies and the reasons why. Write to the celebrities themselves.
