John Mackey, the CEO of Whole Foods, is an advocate of free market health care reform. That makes him public enemy number one of the left. They’ve even started a website devoted to a boycott of the grocery chain.
I live in Lafayette, CA. Let’s start a real boycott against companies that are fighting real health care change. I am on an HSA and they are not as great as they are cracked up to be. You spend an awful lot of time praying that your family doesn’t get sick so that you dont get stuck with a huge deductible to pay
Lets say “no” to that $3 orange and take our money where management cares about its people. Our Whole Foods in Lafayette is schedule to open up this fall. Anyone out there willing to picket with me?
What an idiot. Does this person think his [or her] healthcare will be free if we’re stuck with ObummerCare? Did he actually read Mackey’s op-ed? If he did, he would know that Mackey is calling for reform. But his kind of reform doesn’t transfer control of our health care to the government.
What’s with these liberals wanting to become wards of the state?
And if they boycott Whole Foods, where will they shop?
Crap, now I’m going to have to buy something at Whole Foods to support Mackey. BUT, just ONE thing. Who said it was easy to be a capitalist?
