Obama is our first black President. That is wonderful. That is American. Obama is also the most left wing President we have ever had. That is not so wonderful. With his leftist plans and leftist rhetoric comes heated political dissent and debate. That is American too, but because he is black, that is now called racist.
Since the health care reform debate has heated up, those of us against a government takeover have been called many things, racist being one of them. We have had an MSNBC news anchor claim that “socialist” is the new “N” word. We have political pundits saying that white Americans are afraid of losing “their” America which means they are saying we are afraid of a black President ruining it for the white people. Divisiveness and distortion is the mainstay of leftist tactics.
What conservatives have never bought into is the idea of affirmative action. We don’t look at race or worry about being PC when debating political issues. The left, and their obedient main stream media, are expecting America to apply affirmative action to our President. His policy ideas are to be immediately supported because to do otherwise would be racist. His missteps are to be ignored because to do otherwise would be racist. His bastardization of the constitution is to be accepted because to do otherwise would be racist. His political appointments are to be hurriedly and easily confirmed because to do otherwise would be racist. His changing the fundamental philosophy of American democracy is to be applauded because to do otherwise would be racist.
Affirmative action is bad anytime and is anti-American if we are now to apply it to the Presidency. The left and its minions may wish to protect this president at all costs, but Americans are waking up and beginning to understand that the cost to America will be too great. Our voices are being heard and we are frightening the left. As we rural born conservatives know, it is the frightened animal that can be the most dangerous. We must not let our guard down. We must remember that the elections in 2010 must be won by conservatives and not RINOs. The left will continue to push. They will continue to manipulate the population into voting away freedom. They never give up and we mustn’t either. Continue to stand together. Continue to proclaim loudly:
“Don’t tread on me!”

Excellent well written article Andrew! I am fighting it out in newsvine, all because I wrote an article against the rascism in todays admin when it comes to their policies. Take bill 1388 for instance; It states “preferrential” treatment for black colleges, historically black colleges, on and on, yet absolutely ZERO mention of “white” schools or students gettin grants or fed funds, PERIOD!
I also wrote about the FCC “Diversity” czar, my Lloyd, and the Illegal agenda he has of giving private radio staions funds to public worthless radio! I including factual news articles to back up my observations, yet I was censored!
Me being me, lol I went right back and wrote another article calling attention to the FCC Czar crud.Low and behold, they went nuts! It isnt a thing to do with him being a black man, or Obama being half black either its the POLICIES that are rascist! ( in design)
Of course the libbies countered with the “your rascist” comments and I,m ignorant etc etc, lol typical liberal answers, calling names instead of countering with FACTS.
