I guess asking Americans to snitch on their fellow citizens wasn’t such a good idea, after all. Gee, who knew?
Following a furor over how the data would be used, the White House has shut down an electronic tip box — flag@whitehouse.gov — that was set up to receive information on “fishy” claims about President Barack Obama’s health plan.
E-mails to that address now bounce back with the message: “The e-mail address you just sent a message to is no longer in service. We are now accepting your feedback about health insurance reform via http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck.”
I wonder how much that little debacle wound up costing us.

I’m sure that the snitch line cost the taxpayers a bundle.
But there is a good part to it: the BHO administration took one helluva hit with regard to popularity. The snitch line smacked too much of Orwell.

Are we all running over to this new site and now and giving them a reality check over there?
I would still like to know why I am receiving unsolicited emails from the Obama White House (I subscribed to GW Bush, not this bozo) when I have repeatedly “unsubscribed”.
Rahm Emmanuel is getting beat up in Israel, too–they’ve figured out he’s not to be trusted. Kinda loving that, as well.

Try e-mailing Major Garrett at Fox News. He’s the only one in the media interested in any of this.
