I’m a bit behind the curve after spending half of my Saturday at Dan Maffie’s ill-planned town hall meeting. My arm still hurts after holding it up like a school girl waiting to be called on. They didn’t call on me, and I didn’t dare speak out after being told the cops would be called and anyone who was rude would be removed.
Anyway, here is the best of the web I found late Saturday night. Read them all!
The Community is Restless: Mark Steyn never fails to disappoint. If you’re feeling blue you should read this. Guaranteed laugh out loud column. Once it all sinks in you may want to cry, but enjoy the belly laugh for the moment. You need it!
For Dems a new public enemy no. 1 – Now that they don’t have Sarah Palin to kick around anymore, the Alinskyites need a new target. Enter Michele Bachmann. How dare she read from the constitution! Of course Politico found a way to deride her – calling her floor speeches diatribes!
barack obama’s thuggery – The title says it all. Short, sweet, and to the point! And may I add, it comes from another conservative woman living in a blue state.
The Obsolete Man: Refusing to Let the Soul of America Die – Another excellent post from Carol who has the gaul to quote a Founding Father and other great thinkers in her effort to stop the slide to socialism.
SEIU Obama Supporter Smashes Tea Party Protester in the Face – The union goons are taking marching orders from the union bosses and the White House. Be informed. See what they’re up to!
Obama and the Public Debate – There’s a big difference between Obama the candidate and Obama the president.
On that note I’m off. I’m tired. A two hour Saturday morning town hall meeting with my representative turned into a 4 hour boondoggle. We all came close to needing a little health care by the time the darn thing ended. But these very people want to run our health care industry. So much for my Saturday!
God help us all.
