Mark Levin spoke to ESPN’s sports commentator Stephen A. Smith about President Obama. Mr. Smith told Mr. Levin he voted for Barack Obama, but he’s disturbed about the president’s policies, especially the nationalization of industries and the massive spending bills the president has signed. They also talked about the issue of race, and how disagreeing with the policies of the president is not racist.
Smith also said Levin is going to turn him into a conservative. That’s what happens when liberals open their minds to logic and reason. Sweet!

For what it’s worth, here’s my two cents on the issue of race, and whether Obama’s critics are racist.
Do I believe there are racists in America? Of course, there’s prejudice everywhere in the world. Racists come in all colors and from all political parties. Do I think most Americans are racist? Absolutely not. Do I believe most conservatives are racist? Absolutely not.
That being said, I can understand why black Americans would want to see the first black president succeed. I wish I could have joined them, in wanting Barack Obama to succeed. But I spent so much time reading and posting about his radical friends and his radical agenda that there was no way in the world I could support him. I was hoping he would be a centrist, but I didn’t believe he would be. And it has nothing to do with his race, it has to do with his ideology. His ideology is who he is.
Should Obama do a complete 180 and decide to be a pragmatist to save his own political hyde, maybe I can support him. But he’d have to change his agenda, not his sales pitch. The path he’s taking us down is dangerous – to ALL of us. Regardless of the color of your skin, if you believe in individual freedom and liberty you should think long and hard about supporting this man’s agenda.
