According to this guest on CNN, parents concerned about Obama beaming messages to America’s children are insane and crazy. Never mind that the Department of Education gave instructions for students to write about how they can help President Obama.
And Robert Gibbs laughed off the controversy – it’s just “silly season.”
I am sick of the dishonest coverage this issue is getting on the right. You are intentionally distorting the facts to push your readers to be more anti-Obama. You are liars and nothing more than sleaze mag writers.
Instead of cherry picking words from the middle of a sentence, like “how can you help the president”, why don’t you do the right thing and post the guide in its entirety.

People should actually read it and they will see it focuses on the Presidents message of education and why it is important. It also talks about getting involved in Politics and understanding that you can make a difference.
You see nothing wrong with churches actively brainwashing kids into believing the stupidest things, but having a president try to engage kids on education and provide teachers with a chance to turn it into a learning experience ..Can’t have that.
You are a joke to mainstream America. You scream about everything Obama does and people are waking up to that. You stupidly refuse to pick your battles, you freak out over everything and people are tuning you out.
You are as far from Jesus as I can imagine. I see more of God in the desperate suffering of a crack addict that I see in the row after row of ‘Christians’ lined up to scream with blind hatred at Obama.
Search your hearts, do you really see God there? Or is it Satan feeling you with hate and turning you against the poor and needy that God loves?

Politics and twisted words……what a concept. It goes by other names too, but that’s not why I am commenting here. I try to appreciate both sides and be unbiased, but stupid doesn’t fit in there. Obama is only doing the rest of our “leaders” have done over time. He believes in it, as do others, and everyone against him believes in their agenda, as do others.
What are the choices? Do we impeach him and wait for the bottom to fall out? He says he has the answer and some disagree, but we can all agree there has to be questions that do need answering and he may not even be the one to set it right or at least try to. All the time, money, and energy that goes into Obama’s agenda also goes into his advesarys’ agenda, and just want to know who to believe….maybe it really is the end, maybe….

Scrapman, I appreciate your comment. However, I disagree that he is “only doing what the rest of our leaders have done over time”. It is the things he is doing that have NEVER been done before that I find deeply troubling. He has never really hidden his agenda; couched it in safer words, perhaps, but he’s been proud of the deep leftist he is. I suppose if you are also a deep leftist, it is a time to rejoice. If, however, you are right leaning or even in the center, and treasure a Constitutional Republic that guarantees you individual rights in the face of the mob….well, then, you are definitely troubled by this person and those with whom he surrounds himself.
I appreciate, though, that your comment is polite and decent and true on many levels. I wish all discourse could be so.
