President Obama made some serious waves with his campaign promise to talk with Iranian leader Ahmadinejad without preconditions. Now I don’t know if this really had any influence on that decision or not, but the Iranian American Political Action Committee contributed campaign funds to Obama and Clinton this past primary season. Of course no one in the media has dug into this at all. Why should we expect that from the same media that sought to hang Halliburton like an albatross around the last administration’s neck? Reuters graced us with some news on the latest, and the article includes some famous big name firms that benefited heavily from bailout money. Hmmm.
As it turns out, the New York director of the IAPAC, Mr. Hassan Nemazee, was arrested for fraud in August. He defrauded a number of banks, including Citigroup for about $75 million and HSBC for about $100 million. What other illegal activities has he been involved in? Has he used that money to fund anything in the Middle East? Well, these are questions I could not answer after doing a number of searches on this subject. It seems no one is really interested. Kind of like how no one was interested in Chinese involvement in the Clinton administration.
It seems our protectionist media is mum on this corruption. Namazee is known to be one of the top political donors in the United States. He and his family have generously given over half a million to Democrat campaigns and causes. What did he do with the rest of the stolen money? I was able to find a bit more about Mr. Namazee’s dealings from – surprisingly – a progressive site called AlterNet. Mr. Namazee was also featured as the “Iranian of the Day” on Iranian.com for meeting with the President of Syria. Hmmm again.
Among the Democrats who have benefited from Mr. Namazee are: Schumer, Gillibrand, the Clintons, Obama, and Kerry.

I’d like to know if any of the democrats gave the campaign contributions back. Nice little gig they have – funnel bailout money through the corporations only to have it wind up back in their campaign accounts to keep them in power. And how many more Namazees are out there that we don’t even know about.
