I have nothing against the Chinese people, but do we really need to fly the flag of the communist People’s Republic of China on the White House lawn? Have we lost our minds?
The national flag of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) will be hoisted at the South Lawn of the White House in Washington on September 20, media reported Sunday.
Chinese associations in the United States had applied to hold a ceremony in front of the US President’s residence to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC.

Maybe the Chinese are foreclosing on the White House.

I guess that this just makes our sellout to the commies official. I haven’t yet heard if they are going to let us fly our flag there too. Or does our Admin. even care to fly it anymore?

I’ve been wondering when this issue would come out on the media. Thank you for bringing it up. Can you imagine the photo ops this will create for the Chinese? Letting this happen may be Obama’s biggest gaffe yet……..well, a big one anyway, and likely to grow bigger. Has the White House EVER allowed this for any other country? As for the U.S. reputation that Obama seems so worried about, he will be giving it another shove down the tubes.

I’m upset with big ears as much as the rest of you guyz….but.
Are we being hyper sensitive at what is a common diplomatic protocol?
I’ve been to numerous U.S. facilities and events where the flags of those participating were flown and we played their national anthems also.
Just asking as I HATE hyper sensitive PC types and wouldn’t want to “go there” myself.
I’m not a reach across the aisle white flagger. I just don’t think we should waste or indignation on what could be standard practise.

Sam Adams, the article says that the flag will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the PRC. There are no visiting dignitaries. An application was made to celebrate the initiation of Communism in China?
