Obama did lie, about that and a lot of other things. I don’t remember any democrat apologizing to GWB after booing him during his address to congress.

I always thought there were smart people in SC, now I know there are. Any person has the right and obligation to speak what they believe, especially in politics, without having to apologize.
It appears to me that freedom of speech is fading fast in America. Double standard is the liberally accepted form of government in Washington DC today.

As someone who does NOT agree with the current administration, I was appalled to hear the distinguished congressman from South Carolina heckle the President of the United States. I am not saying that he should be faulted or condemned for speaking his OPINION. What I am saying is that he should be condemned for his disrespectful behavior during a very serious matter. This is not England’s House of Commons or Australia’s Parliament, where fist fights break out and people shout at each other. His actions were WRONG, regardless of his perspective. His apology reflected that by saying he was overly emotional. If you support his actions than you do not know how to debate in a civilized manner and are hurting the cause of those who oppose the current administration.
You are simply reinforcing the image of the loud mouthed Palin that has no intelligence that was portrayed by the media and forced the Republican party to lose the Presidential election.
Get a hold of your emotions and arm yourself with knowledge!

Not to argue or anything, but Sarah Palin is very intelligent and has done a lot to help our country. Her reputation was slaughtered by the liberal media who was scared that she could ruin what they considered their election to win. I admire her for her courage. She did not help the Republican Party lose the election. The nomination of John McCain was the worst thing for the Republicans. He is not a true conservative. Sarah Palin energized the conservatives and was someone we could trust to stand up for our values. She is not perfect. However, she was one of the best candidates we have had in a long time. And, I did not vote for John McCain last November. I voted for Sarah Palin and against Barack Obama.
As for heckling Barack, if he’s going to lie then he needs to get called out on it. It might not have been the best place to do it. But, really, had he done it any other way the mainstream media would never have even aired it. So, in that regard I am glad he did it. On the other had, the mainstream media can use it to try to portray those against BO as disrespectful. So, I do have mixed feelings about it. But, at least he had the courage to call Barack out on a blatant lie. If Barack is going to continue lying to us, he should be held accountable. Up until now, he’s been given a free pass. He should get called what he is. I hope many more people call him a liar to his face, because that is what he is.

He is a liar and Wilson probably was overcome with emotion, no doubt. However, as a ‘distinguished member’ he should have put a sock in it. No doubt others feel the same way. This whole thing is a bait and switch how this administration is trying to manipulate everyone into believing that their vision is clear. He’s a menace. A liar. And he is a racist, I’m afraid. Why is it okay for the liberal media to dissect any conservative person or endeavor but grazes over anything with a liberal agenda. Yes he made history but his own history is questionable and not right for this country.
I would love everyone to live in peace and have everything they need but that is not realistic. And why should I pay for someone who is illegal, or doesn’t want insurance? Hell, I already helped buy cars for over 600,000 people this summer. And I still feel like I’m being taken for a ride.

Take your little panty waste faux rules and peddle then to some little group that never gets anything done “cause they’re just to proper”. Sarah Palin may be intelligent but she was portrayed by the media and by her handlers as ill informed and unprepared for office. Mr Wilson added fuel to the liberal attacks against conservatives by acting out of line. Every congressman that was asked about last night’s outburst agreed that it was wrong. This also includes Mr Wilson.
I don’t know if the President is a liar because there is no “official health care bill” yet. There are four different proposals and a fifth that is supposed to be completed this week from the different congressional committees.
If anyone has a copy of this bill making reference to illegal citizens, please post it so we can spread it to the media and our fellow Americans.

I agree with Tom and Angrywhiteman. And, as I’ve stated many times before, the bad guys ALWAYS count on the civility and kindness of those they are trying to destroy. Well, Doc, there comes a time when there just isn’t a really nice way to go about kicking ass. Got a problem with self-defense? Because that’s what we’re facing now. So while the rest of us fight for this nation, please keep your little candy ass at home and out of our way. And I mean that in the nicest way

I know all of you are as proud of Joe Wilson as I am but I have to agree with Doc on this one.
As Conservatives we are by nature conservative OBVIOUSLY we have had enough! We DO NOT however want to cut off our nose to spite our face. We must use our energy in the best way, under the best light.
I do indeed have to admit if I were in the room my emotions may have gotten the best of me too, as I was screaming the very same sentiment at my television immediately before my new favorite congressman spoke the only two truthful words in the room yesterday.
It is also true that he would have received ZERO air time to get that message across after the speech. So, although I would have thought it a bad plan and I hope it won’t be repeated I applaud both his disagreement with the President, as well as his very well worded apology and send him a “GO JOE”! I’m also buying the bumper stickers that just came out – “YOU LIE”. Not to encourage the behavior but to spread the message.
I will also send money to his re-election campaign because people are trying to sabotage him as we speak.
