If he isn’t already attending anger management classes, Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) should really consider it. What a nut case.
At a town hall meeting over the weekend a constituent raised some legitimate points about Obama’s health care claims and ended with the line “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.” To which the ever classy Stark replied “I wouldn’t dignify you by peeing on your leg. It wouldn’t be worth wasting the urine.” He also wouldn’t dignify him or any of the other attendees with answers to the man’s concerns. That little outburst occurred at about 1:38.
The rest of the video is pretty enlightening. Stark said even without a “public option” government would set insurance rates if there are insurance exchanges. He also said he sees things moving to single-payer in the next twenty years or so. Is that wishful thinking or is he well aware that’s exactly where his party plans to take us? The last man to ask a question basically called him a liar to which Stark cracked a joke about South Carolina.
