It might be a good peptalk for students considering quitting, although they probably would have thrown up on the arrogance. But, if I had heard that speech as a student, I would have been insulted that he would think I needed twenty mintues of my time wasted to be told how important an education is and how I need to do my job to not waste his efforts in making sure our teachers and parents are doing what he wants. He probably understands that the parents that played by the rules are keeping their kids out of the speech... so he understands who his audience is and what they need to hear :) Honestly, this man is quite full of himself.
