I was in the shower this morning when I heard President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. I thought it was a joke. I even peaked around the curtain to look at the TV to make sure I heard it right. My second thought was why are they encouraging him? The last thing the man needs is an ego boost.
Now he has something else in common with Jimmy Carter. Great.
Byron York points out that I wasn’t the only one surprised by the news.

And all it took was for him to surrender America.

What a joke. This morning on the radio Rick Santorum read the announcement from the Nobel committee. I almost threw up.
And why the hell are we shooting at the moon?

Wait, you have a TV in your bathroom. Awesome. Anyway, I woke up in a great mood this morning until I heard the news. Apparently, whatever was in our drinking water over here on election day, has now spread to the rest of the world. I hope the CDC can find a cure for Obamacitis before it’s too late.

Yeah, it is awesome having a TV in the bathroom. When my hubby built the addition I had him run cable in there.

After Arafat and Carter, it wouldn’t have surprised me if they awarded it posthumously to Stalin.

This now makes it final what a farce the Nobel Peace Prize has now become. The funniest (and most telling) thing is that the nomination deadline for the Prize was the end of January, less than 2 weeks after he took office. Gore, Carter now Obama clearly a sign of the vapid emptyness of modern European culture.

US Troops upon hearing of the President winning the Nobel peace prize celebrated by putting themselves into harms way today. “Some of us may die today, but Obama brings hope.” said Pvt. first class Jim Mcdougal. The overall sentiment was happy as many agreed that the President had more important things to do than worry about them.

Throngs of people took to the city streets this morning after hearing that their favorite son and President had won the highly regarded Nobel Peace Prize. Chearful riots broke out between rival gangs and two innocent kids were bludgened to death in celebration. The fealing of hope was everywhere.

LC,
For what most of what I see passing itself off as entertainment, you got it in the right room.
