Syracuse doesn’t get much national attention, and when we do it usually isn’t positive. Remember John Jamelske? Thanks alot, weirdo. If we aren’t making headlines for the weirdos, we get attention for scenes like this one:
Even then, we’re outdone by Oswego and Redfield.
So what a pleasant surprise it was to find RS McCain included some lovely pictures of downtown Syracuse in his NY23 Travel Notes. Check it out. Downtown Syracuse is a cool place to visit and if you ever want to get away you can’t beat the price. (Unless you plan to buy anything that’s taxable, but I won’t go there tonight, I’m trying to be positive.)
