Lately, well over the last 6 to 7 years, the GOP has found a sick pleasure in playing russian roulette. Maybe that is a bit too harsh. Maybe it is that the country clubber’s are a little tired of Joe the Plumber’s and our gauche ways. To remedy that, they have decided to put us out of their misery and go left – you know, where the real popularity seems to be. Really? Perhaps they need to look at the most recent Gallup poll:
Conservatives Maintain Edge as Top Ideological Group
PRINCETON, NJ — Conservatives continue to outnumber moderates and liberals in the American populace in 2009, confirming a finding that Gallup first noted in June. Forty percent of Americans describe their political views as conservative, 36% as moderate, and 20% as liberal. This marks a shift from 2005 through 2008, when moderates were tied with conservatives as the most prevalent group.
I think it would be wiser for them – the party elites – to call off their Dr. Kevorkian tactics killing their chances of election victories and embrace the truth. Perhaps though, they would rather wallow in losses and just suck up to those they can really be friends with – the Democrats. Meanwhile I’ll keep fighting for what really matters.

I’m afraid they’ll never learn.
They’re clueless.

The GOP Elite have been on a suicide watch for years…ever since the Blue Blood Bushes took control. They just hate us common folks, like Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck…
Lindsey Graham, Newt,Romney, etc and Company won’t get it, until it’s too late…which it already may be. The country, like in 1994, can be taken back, Newt and Congress blew it back then, they just don’t learn from their mistakes.

I almost wish that a new party could gain popularity and we leave the GOP to rot away.

Our best hope is to retake the GOP. I have a feeling the Democrats are feeling the same way about their party, since the Socialists have totally destroyed them.
