Here’s Hoffman’s new ad: Two Peas in a Liberal Pod
Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Doug Hoffman gave his campaign coffers a big boost, but he still needs more if he’s going to have a chance against the two liberals - one of whom is disguised as a republican. Both parties are pouring mega bucks into the race, and the area NY23 covers is huge. He has to run ads in four different markets to reach all the voters.
Steve Forbes has endorsed Hoffman, and it looks like Tim Pawlenty may soon do the same. North Country Public Radio‘s David Sommerstein isn’t as keen on Hoffman as conservatives. While he hails Hoffman’s humble roots, he sneers that he’s a “right wing darling.” Sommerstein seems to be a fan of government programs, and Hoffman’s message of wanting to create jobs in the North Country didn’t send any thrills up his leg. Sommerstein revealed his lefty creds when he referred to Scozzafava as a moderate.
Speaking of Dede Scozzafava, Erick Erickson discovered she’s been funneling campaign money to family members. The RNC should rethink their support of this fraud, and demand she return the money they’ve wasted on her campaign.
The Other McCain travelled all the way to Hoffman’s campaign headquarters in Saranac Lake and continues to post frequent updates.
